No one takes good photos of me, so the best I can do is this shot of me, playing Pierre in Great Comet. I really nailed the “sad loser drunkard” act. Play what you know!

Liam Augustine Donahue is a photographer from Putney, Vermont. He is terribly passionate about analog processes, and on most weekends you’re likely to find him in the darkroom, listening to music and making print after print after print.

Liam has only been photographing since the fall of 2024, and since then, his vast (and largely self-taught) technical knowledge and seemingly innate understanding of composition has grown at an exponential rate. He shoots across a multitude of formats, and develops and prints all of his images by hand. In addition to photography, Liam is an actor, vocalist, writer, and semi-amateur proffesional asshat. Well, even Achilles had his heel…

Liam has recieved multiple awards for his work, including a Scholastic National Gold Medal for his portrait, “Glowing,” as well as being named the 2025 Ilford High School Photographer of the Year. He graduated from The Putney School, class of 2025, and is currently attending Oberlin College.
